Materials Tab

By means of this menu it is possible to modify colours and textures attributed by CAD or replace them with other externals, set scale, inclination, transparency, brightness, shineness, apply the chromed effect on metal parts or the reflecting effect on shiny parts.

Materials List

Contains the list of materials thumbnails (materials spheres). It is possible to select material by clicking in the 3D scene or on thumbnails. It is possible to choose the size of thumbnails: large (default) and small by clicking on the two buttons in the top of the list.

• open "Materials" Tab.;
• select the material to modify by clicking on the 3D window or click on the corresponding sphere;
• in the dialogue window along the string "Appearance Material" select one of the three options Standard, Polished, Chromized.

Remarks

Warning! VRML Exporter in ArchiCAD 10 does not work correctly: all the textures come out incorrectly (they are mixed).
With Vitruvian Studio you can manually correct them.
All the other versions of ArchiCAD (version 11 included) export textures to VRML correctly.
