Properties

Name Type Description

Navigation Type Selector Sets active and possible types of 3D navigation (walk, fly ...).
Add Type Button Adds new strings for additional navigation types.
Delete Type Button Deletes the selected string.
Speed RulerControl Sets the navigating speed in the scene (using mouse and keyboard). Zero speed indicates that the avatar's position is stationary, but its orientation and field of view may still change.
Visibility Limit RulerControl Sets the visibility limit of the camera (range that represents the distance from the camera within which the objects are visible in the scene. Geometry beyond the visibilityLimit may not be rendered. A value of 0.0 indicates an infinite visibility limit.
Center of Rotation RulerControls Set 3D position of rotation's center by X, Y and Z coordinates (used in the EXAMINE mode only).
Avatar - Collision Distance RulerControl Sets the allowable distance between the user's position and any collision geometry before a collision is detected.
Avatar - Sight's Height RulerControl Sets height of the camera (eye level) from ground.

Remarks

"Navigation Type" establishes the navigation modes (walk, examine, fly, none)foreseen for the saved scene: on the upper string the default mode is set (the one with which the scene is opened), in the second string a further mode is selected if necessary (by selecting "any" all the navigation modes permitted by viewer are possible, selecting "none" all the modes different to the default are excluded).

The programme allows to add and memorise different settings with relative modes and parameters for navigation (NavigationInfo 01, 02 etc..) to subsequently be recalled during work on the scene according to ones' needs.
